Tryout Information
Want to try out for GPA?
Parents are asked to enter and assist in the check-in process with their athlete. We welcome parents who would like to stay and be a spectator during the try-out process, we just ask that you stay in our space away from the athletes so as not to distract them. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.
TRYOUT COST
$25 - For all those attending tryouts. To include a tryout t-shirt with corresponding tryout number.
*Walk-ins are welcome, they will be asked to complete the registration online. Computers will be available for online registration*

Family Informational Session:
At our club tryouts, we’re not just evaluating players — we’re also getting to know families. Just as it’s important for the club to be the right fit for you, it’s equally important for you to be the right fit for our club. With the time, commitment, and travel involved, we’re dedicated to creating a culture where players can grow, thrive, and feel fully supported throughout the season. We look forward to connecting with you and your family!
REQUIRED PAPERWORK:
The following items will need to be uploaded during the tryout registration process. Having them completed and saved electronically prior to registration will make the process easier and more efficient.
OVR/USAV Membership Registration
You will need to provide your athlete’s membership number when you register and upload a picture of her membership card. Detailed information and instructions on purchasing a membership can be found on the OVR website (www.ovr.org) under the “Join” tab; you will then choose “Register”. They offer both Tryout and Full season membership options. The Tryout membership allows participants to attend an unlimited number of tryouts between July and December; upon accepting an offer with a club, the player will then “upgrade” their Tryout membership to a Full season membership. The $10 for the Tryout membership is applied at that time towards a Full membership.
If an athlete participated in the 24-25 Club season, their membership is considered current until September 1, 2025.
USAV WAIVER AND MEDICAL RELEASE FORM
All athletes are required to complete the USAV Waiver and Medical Release form prior to attending tryouts. Both forms can be found below. You will have to upload them on your tryout registrations.

Payment will be made at time of registration. Please note that tryout registration fees are non-refundable. Tryout fees cover the cost of court rental, t-shirt, and coaching evaluation costs.

To determine the correct age to register for tryouts, please use the OVR/USA Age Definition Chart. Please note that players may play at a higher age division based on ability and number of players.

If selected to a team, you will need to finalize your club affiliation for the 25-26 season and upgrade your OVR/USAV membership to a full season membership if you haven’t already purchased that option prior to tryouts.
